Nearly 70 per cent of the farming community is small and marginal farmers and they are the worst sufferers due to the current models of unsustainable farming, effect of climate changes and various other related reasons.

Our Work

The sustainable livelihood approach enables the organization to understand various facets and complexities of poverty and related issues and adopt appropriate strategies and programs to address the issue of poverty by creating livelihood opportunities for the poor and their families. To improve their situation there is an evident need for shifting from the conventional type of agriculture to adopt more scientific and sustainable models of agriculture practices. It encompasses developing their skills, knowledge, capacity, natural resources, credit, market, appropriate technologies; and access to basic health care, education, promoting conducive socio-economic and political environment, network and support.

The introduction of better crop, crop diversification, soil and water management packages can be successful interventions to improve the agricultural production.
