Jana Kalyana Samakhya - JKS is a registered voluntary professional and right based not for profit development organization based at Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram District, Northern Andhra Pradesh and Rayagada District of Odisha, India. JKS’s activities are spread over in 4 mandals/blocks in Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh, covering nearly 174,000 populations in 442 villages/hamlets. The operational area is located very interior hilly and forest area bordering Odisha state. Tribals (Adivasis), Dalits and other weaker sections such as women, children, landless, small and marginal farmers and Persons with Disability constitute the target group.

Its Governing Body consists of 7 professionals, including persons from the target community, who gives broader guidelines and involves in major policy decisions. Based on the vision, JKS is committed to bring qualitative changes in the lives of Tribals (indigenous communities), Dalits and other weaker sections such as women, children, landless, small and marginal farmers and Persons with Disability who constitute the target group.
